Ioannis N. Passas is a Researcher, and Adjunct Professor in Accounting, at the Department of Business Administration & Tourism, Hellenic Mediterranean University, and the Department of Organization & Business Administration, International Hellenic University. He holds a degree in Business Administration from International Hellenic University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Hospitality & Tourism from Hellenic Mediterranean University, and a Ph.D. in Αccounting science from the same department.
He is also a Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA), Certified Control Specialist (CCS) from the Institute for Internal Controls (IIC), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA Diploma) from the Association of Certified Public Accountants.
He has co-authored five Academic books. Four are based on Accounting and Management Accounting issues, and the other is based on Research Methodology.
He is a Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association, LAFIM, ACPAI, Economic Chamber of Greece, Orama Lab member, and IIC Greece sector founding member.
His primary research interests lie in the scientific areas of ESG, Management Commentary, Disclosure of Narrative information, Multiple Criteria Decision-making in Management Accounting, IPSAS, Auditing, Quality of Financial Statements, Accounting, and Operational Research.
